Program Director - 2 Open Positions*

 

We are currently searching for Program Directors to oversee the daily operations of various programs. In this position you will direct a team of professionals and skilled Direct Service Professionals providing residential, day program, and other supports to children and adults with developmental disabilities.

 

Responsibilities:
The Program Director is responsible for the overall daily operations of the program including supervision of staff, scheduling, financials, and payroll. Areas of responsibility include hiring, ensuring orientation and ongoing training, retention of high quality staff, and assurance that all aspects of the program are developed, implemented, coordinated, and monitored to the highest degree possible.

 

Qualifications:
Position requires experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism. A bachelor’s degree in the field of human services, psychology, education or related field is required and/or as determined by the Senior Director a combination of significant education, experience and abilities. Prior experience in developing and implementing individuals programs, budget implementation and in supervising others is desired. Must have good decision-making, time-management and communication skills.

 

Top candidate will possess strength in administration, finance, DD programs, leadership, communication, and teamwork.

Assistant Directors, Marion and Lane Counties

 

Every day, Albertina Kerr helps children, adults and families of Oregon who face mental health challenges and developmental disabilities, empowering them to lead fuller, self-determined lives.

 

We're seeking two Assistant Directors; one for our Lane County group homes for adults with developmental disabilities and one for our Marion County group homes. The Assistant Director oversees all operations of the region’s group homes, including supervising managers and staff; providing budget and financial oversight to programs; ensuring compliance with OARs, agency policies, and our philosophy of care; ensuring ISPs, financial safeguards, and other protective measures for the people in our services are followed; participating in licensing reviews and quality assurance processes; and similar or related tasks. The successful candidate will have five or more years’ experience in a DD service setting, including staff and program oversight, and a working knowledge of philosophies and approaches used to provide support options to people with developmental disabilities. A pre-hire drug screen and criminal background check are required, as is the ability to meet agency driving requirements.
